The EliteBook 845 G8 is the **AMD** version of HP's business line, and that is its point: Ryzen PRO processors with more cores than the Intel equivalent in the same class and price, so work that scales with cores — compression, virtual machines, compiling, video export — runs faster. The body is pure EliteBook: 14 inches at around 1.4kg, a backlit spill-resistant keyboard, a fingerprint reader and a camera shutter. USB-C charges and drives an external display, while USB-A and HDMI are still present so you do not need an adapter for everything. Wi-Fi 6 handles connectivity. **The drawback: integrated graphics.** This class is not for gaming or heavy rendering — if your work is 3D or GPU-accelerated editing, a workstation (ZBook or Precision) is the right class. The second drawback is the 16:9 display, which has less vertical space than newer 16:10 machines. This is a corporate machine by origin, so most units reaching us have worked in offices — what differs between them is battery, keyboard and screen condition, and those are written on each unit.

AMD or Intel in this class?+
At the same price, Ryzen PRO gives you more cores — visible in work that scales with them: video export, compiling, virtual machines. Intel is closer on single-core work and brings Thunderbolt support. For ordinary office use you will not feel a difference.
Can it play games?+
Light and older titles run on the integrated graphics; modern ones do not. Ryzen's integrated graphics are stronger than Intel's from the same period, but this is still a different class from a discrete card. If gaming matters, a gaming laptop is the right category.
How does it differ from the EliteBook 840?+
Nearly the same body and the same size — the difference is the processor: the 845 is AMD Ryzen, the 840 is Intel. In practice the 845 usually gives more cores for the money and the 840 gives Thunderbolt. Choose on your work: cores or the port.

Does the device carry customs tax, and what happens if I do not pay it?+
Every phone on the site says whether its tax is already paid, and when it is not, the amount sits next to the price. An unpaid device has a 120-day grace period — four months — counted from the day you put a SIM in and activate it on the network, not from the day you bought it. It is paid once, not monthly. If you would rather be done with it, transfer us the amount and we pay it on your behalf. The tax applies to phones only — not laptops, MacBooks, iPads or accessories.
How can I pay?+
Cash on delivery is the most common — you pay the courier at handover. We also take Visa and Mastercard on the bank's own page, mobile wallets such as Vodafone Cash, and InstaPay. Paying online carries no collection fee.
How long does delivery take?+
Usually two working days, and it varies by governorate. Your own delivery time and shipping fee appear once you pick your governorate at checkout — shipping is paid by the customer; we do not offer free delivery.
What if the device is not what I expected — how do I return it?+
You have 14 days from the delivery date to exchange or return a used device, in the same condition it was bought and with everything that came with it. A new device can be returned or exchanged as long as the box is still sealed. Message us on WhatsApp and we will arrange it — every returned device is inspected within 48 hours, and we transfer the refund as soon as the inspection is done, through the method you paid with. Shipping costs in both cases are paid by the customer.
