The body is metal and the keyboard spill-resistant, like the rest of the EliteBook range. This is the generation after the G3 in the same thin line — a year newer, so its battery and cooling have lived less. The drawbacks belong to every convertible rather than to this model: it is **heavier** than its non-folding equivalent because of the hinge and the touch layer, its **battery drains faster** because a touch display draws more, and there is **no numeric keypad** at 13 inches. The hinge and the touch display. The convertible gives you four modes, and in exchange it is heavier and its battery drains faster. So if you will not use tablet mode or a pen, an ordinary machine of the same size is lighter, cheaper and lasts longer — that is the real difference, not sales talk.
Does the hinge wear out?+
It is the part that moves more than anything else on the machine, so it is the first thing worth inspecting on a used convertible. We open and close the lid several times on every unit, check whether the hinge is loose, cracking, or failing to hold its angle, and write down what we found.
Does it come with a pen?+
The pen is a separate accessory sold on its own, and not every used unit arrives with one. If the unit you are buying includes a pen you will find it stated on its page — we do not write that a pen is included unless it actually is. Ask us before buying if it matters to you.
What does it mean that a device is inspected?+
Each kind of device has its own written list it passes before being listed. Does the device carry customs tax, and what happens if I do not pay it?+
Every phone on the site says whether its tax is already paid, and when it is not, the amount sits next to the price. An unpaid device has a 120-day grace period — four months — counted from the day you put a SIM in and activate it on the network, not from the day you bought it. It is paid once, not monthly. If you would rather be done with it, transfer us the amount and we pay it on your behalf. The tax applies to phones only — not laptops, MacBooks, iPads or accessories.
How can I pay?+
Cash on delivery is the most common — you pay the courier at handover. We also take Visa and Mastercard on the bank's own page, mobile wallets such as Vodafone Cash, and InstaPay. Paying online carries no collection fee.
How long does delivery take?+
Usually two working days, and it varies by governorate. Your own delivery time and shipping fee appear once you pick your governorate at checkout — shipping is paid by the customer; we do not offer free delivery.
What if the device is not what I expected — how do I return it?+
You have 14 days from the delivery date to exchange or return a used device, in the same condition it was bought and with everything that came with it. A new device can be returned or exchanged as long as the box is still sealed. Message us on WhatsApp and we will arrange it — every returned device is inspected within 48 hours, and we transfer the refund as soon as the inspection is done, through the method you paid with. Shipping costs in both cases are paid by the customer.
