The ThinkPad T480s comes from the **T line** — Lenovo's mainstream business range — a 2018 model at 14 inches. The s stands for slim: a thinner, lighter version of the standard T480. Does the ThinkPad keyboard really make a difference?+
If you type for hours, yes and noticeably. Key travel is deeper than on most machines and the action is clearer, so typing is faster with fewer mistakes. It is something you feel rather than read in a specification. What is the red dot (TrackPoint)?+
A small nub in the middle of the keyboard that moves the cursor when you push it with a finger, without lifting your hands off the letters. People used to it are faster with it than with a trackpad; people who are not can ignore it entirely — the trackpad is right there below.
How does the T480s differ from the standard T480?+
The s means thinner and lighter. In exchange, part of the memory is soldered and there is only one upgrade slot (the standard has two), and the battery is internal only with no option for an additional external pack. So if upgrade room matters more than weight, look for the standard T480.
What does it mean that a device is inspected?+
Each kind of device has its own written list it passes before being listed. An iPhone gets 18 checks: battery, screen (original or replaced), cameras, speakers and microphone, Touch ID or Face ID, mobile data and Wi-Fi, the charging port, and confirmation that it is not iCloud-locked or reported. Does the device carry customs tax, and what happens if I do not pay it?+
Every phone on the site says whether its tax is already paid, and when it is not, the amount sits next to the price. An unpaid device has a 120-day grace period — four months — counted from the day you put a SIM in and activate it on the network, not from the day you bought it. It is paid once, not monthly. If you would rather be done with it, transfer us the amount and we pay it on your behalf. The tax applies to phones only — not laptops, MacBooks, iPads or accessories.
How can I pay?+
Cash on delivery is the most common — you pay the courier at handover. We also take Visa and Mastercard on the bank's own page, mobile wallets such as Vodafone Cash, and InstaPay. Paying online carries no collection fee.
How long does delivery take?+
Usually two working days, and it varies by governorate. Your own delivery time and shipping fee appear once you pick your governorate at checkout — shipping is paid by the customer; we do not offer free delivery.
What if the device is not what I expected — how do I return it?+
You have 14 days from the delivery date to exchange or return a used device, in the same condition it was bought and with everything that came with it. A new device can be returned or exchanged as long as the box is still sealed. Message us on WhatsApp and we will arrange it — every returned device is inspected within 48 hours, and we transfer the refund as soon as the inspection is done, through the method you paid with. Shipping costs in both cases are paid by the customer.
